Thank you for considering Child and Family Services Agency (CFSA) as your internship program during the 2023 – 2024 academic year. CFSA is the public child welfare agency in the District of Columbia responsible for protecting child victims and those at risk of abuse and neglect and assisting their families. As a micro intern you have the opportunity to investigate reports of abuse and neglect, assist families, provide safe out-of-home care and re-establish permanent homes. For our macro interns, you will find opportunities in measuring quality services, data analysis, and training. By interning at CFSA you will join a team of passionate, dedicated and committed social workers who will provide you with the guidance and support to bring you closer to your goal of becoming a social worker.
