- Provide your DMV-issued identification number, or the last four digits of your Social Security Number, if you do not have a DMV-issued identification number. Check each box in the Voter Declaration.
- Register with a political party if you plan to vote in the primary elections

If the information on your application is complete and you are qualified to vote in the District of Columbia, you will receive a voter registration card.
If you do not receive confirmation within three weeks of submitting this application, please call (202)727-2525, (866)328-6837 or 711 (TTY).
The registration deadline is 21 days before the next election. If you miss this deadline, you may register in person at 1015 Half Street SE, Suite 750 (by appointment only) or at any Vote Center during early voting or on Election Day.
